“Heart Request” showcases the energy, sensitivity, and intensity of Tristan Bernoud’s band. The vibraphonist is joined by Gaspard Mathelin on trumpet, Loïc Lengagne on piano, Jim Monneau on double bass, and Egon Wolfson on drums to deliver five original compositions born from a blend of his influences.

The tracks serve as a space for exploration and expression, but above all as a powerful means of communication between the musicians and the audience. Respectfully rooted in the tradition of American music, the band places considerable emphasis on improvisation, even making it one of the cornerstones of its artistic vision.

“Heart Request” also stems from a need : the need to assert themselves, to grow, and to evolve together. Tristan Bernoud’s music is not created in isolation; it is born of sharing.

Produced by the Propulsion initiative, the EP marks the first collaboration between Tristan Bernoud and Igloo Records.
